Review of Wet & Wild FastDry nail polishes!

Hi everyone!

Today I’m going to do a review of Wet ‘N Wild Fastdry nail polishes! This collection, which came out earlier this year, has a total of 18 different shades in lots of different finishes. There are some glitters, some flat shades, and some really pretty shimmer shades. I have to honestly say I am very impressed with the quality of the polishes. Like the name implies, they do dry fairly quickly, which is good for someone that is as impatient as I am lol. The colors are very pigmented, and they glide on nicely!

Personally I have a really hard time keeping my nails in tact. Being a cake decorator, I am always using my hands and washing them frequently, so a nice fresh coat of polish probably only lasts me about half a day before being chipped and ruined, unfortunately. So that being said, I can never really test the longevity of a polish. Feel free to tell me about your experiences with these polishes!

Like I have mentioned in the above, there are 18 different shades, and currently I only own 11. Here is a list of all the shades:
  • The Gold and the Beautiful
  • The Wonder Yellows*
  • Sage in the city*
  • SaGreena the Teenage Witch
  • Teal or No Teal
  • Teal of Fortune*
  • Ebony Hates Chris
  • Buffy the Violet Slayer*
  • Saved by the Blue*
  • Fuchsiarama*
  • How I Met Your Magenta
  • Hannah Pinktana*
  • Blue Wants to be a Millionaire*
  • Silvivor*
  • Gray’s Anatomy
  • Party of Five Glitter
  • Everybody Loves Redmond*
  • 9.0.2.1.Orange*
(The * stands for the polishes I own)

(From left to right: Everybody Loves Redmond, 9.0.2.1. Orange, Teal of Fortune, Saved by the Blue, Blue Wants to be a Millionaire, Hannah Pinktana, FuschiaRama, Silvivor)

(Left to Right: The Wonder Yellows, Sage in the City Buffy the Violet Slayer)

It seems that all the polishes have names that are parodies of famous t.v. shows, which I think is cuteJ but besides that, they are AMAZING polishes for anyone that is on a tight budget, and also love colors.

These polishes are available in many different places. I haven’t seen them at Target or Ulta, but I have seen them at a store called Five Below, Super Kmart, Walmart, and Walgreens. I am sure they are available in other places tho. They are only $1.99.

So, as of what I have tried so far, I can’t really say anything bad about them. The color is good, they remove easily (even the glitters!), and they are affordable! I’m honestly not as into nail polish as I am with makeup, but I like to rant about a great product when I see one!

Thanks so much to those of you who have been readingJ I really appreciate it. Also, if you have any products you would like to know about or questions about anything, feel free to ask me anything! If I have used it, I will be sure to tell you about it! Let me know what you are interested in seeing!

Thanks again so much!

My Top Favorite Things!

Hi everyone!

This is going to be my first official post! I'm so excited to share some of my top favorite things with you! I have put together a list of some of my go-to products to review and share with you. I'll also include prices, and where you can find the products also just in case you are interested! i hope you enjoy!

1. Favorite Pencil Eyeliner: Milani Liquif'eye metallic eye pencil in 01 black, $5.49, Super Kmart, CVS

This is the absolute BEST black eyeliner I have used, i think, EVER. As you can see, I have used it so much already! It smudges so smoothly, and once it sets, it does not move at all! This liner is also appealing because of the price. I purchased this eyeliner from my local Super Kmart for only $5.49! It also comes in 3 other colors: silver(which i reeeally want to get!), gold, and a brown shade. Despite the name, this black is not metallic, but it is so pigmented! Needless to say, i was pretty thrilled when i got it:)

above are comparisons to some other black eyeliners i have:) top: Urban decay 24/7 liner in Zero($18.00), Middle: Sephora Flashy Waterproof Liner in Deep Black($12.00), and Bottom: Milani liquif'eye in black.

2. Favorite Gel Liner: M.A.C's fluidline in Blacktrack, $14.50

I have tried a bunch of different gel and liquid eyeliners, from L'oreal's h.i.p gel liner, to e.l.f, but by far my fave. is m.a.c's blacktrack. this amazing liner goes on so easily and lasts all day, and for someone like me, I definitley need longevity! and for $14.50, its a worthwhile investment. The liner lasts, does a wonderful job, and you get a very decent amount of product!http://www.maccosmetics.com/

3. Favorite Pan Eyeshadows: M.A.C, $11.50

this is my personal palette, my go-to colors are Hepcat, Vanilla, and Gleam:)

I have lots of favorite eyeshadows, and believe me, I have quite a selection to choose from. I really don't like having all kinds of individual eyeshadows lying around all over. My favorite pan eyeshadows are the m.a.c pan eyeshadows not only because of the outstanding collection of colors and amazing color payoof, but the conveinience of haveing all of your together in your little palette. I have wishlists for different brands that I want to try, but from what I have, these are the ones I like the most so far; More for the freedom of chosing the colors really, and being able to store them all together. Of course the quality is great also! I just like being able to build my own palette:)

4. Favorite Mineral Eyeshadows: Glamour Doll Eyes, $6.00(full size jar)

I have been looking around at different mineral make-up shops online, and the one I liked the best so far has been Glamour Doll Eyes. There are so many different and unique colors to choose from! I recently ordered about 25 different samples of shadows and 'eye lights'(glitter) and I have been very happy with the results! Sample baggies cost $1.25 for a shadow, and $1.00 for eye light. Sample jars are $2.50, and Full jars are $6.00 for regular items, special colors may cost extra! It is run by 'V' and she was also kind enough to include some free samples!
The colors are very pigmented and unique. they go on easily, foil great, and blend out well also. I'm definitley going to order some full size jars in the future! check out their website!http://www.glamourdolleyes.com/

5. Favorite Lip Gloss: Kat Von D for Sephora, $19.00

This gloss is in the shade Party Animal. I also have Stormy, and Gunshine.

Swatch! I love the pigmentation!

Now, honestly I don't wear a lot of lipgloss, but when I purchased this particular brand, I started wearing it more! I have tons of lipglosses but these are my favorite so far. they smell and taste good, the colors are beautiful, and they arn't too sticky. As with all glosses, they dont last for a very long time but they are gloss! And it's always fun to re-apply! I would never have purchased these at full price (I'm a bargain hunter!) so when I saw them on clearance at Sephora for only $5.00, I picked up 3 of them! I dont know if they are discontinued colors or anything, and im not sure how long they will have these on clearance, but you can always check the sephora website for their clearance section!

6. Favorite Lipstick: NYX Lipstick, $3.99, ulta

NYX lipstick in 'Gem'. I also have 'Harmonica', and 'Margerita'.

I dont wear lipstick that much either but when I do, I prefer lipstick by NYX. I have a few different shades that im totally in love with. they go on smooth, they dont dry out my lips, and they have a nice longevity also. I love the packaging for this lipstick also! It is very cute, and for 4 bucks you cant beat it!http://www.ulta.com/

7. Favorite Foundation: Bare Minerals, $60.00(for starter kit), Sephora, Ulta

I dont usually wear foundation on a regular basis because my job makes it hard to keep it in tact, but when I do, I go for my Bare minerals. Im fair, to fairly light. It seems to be one of the only foundations that doesnt irritate my skin! I am really glad I invested in Bare Minerals because it works beautifully and it feels like you arnt even wearing makeup!http://www.sephora.com/

8. Favorite Eye Primer: Too Faced Shadow Insurance, $18.00, Ulta, Sephora.

Now, i honestly like too faced and urban decay's primer potion the same, but when it comes to packaging, to faced wins. Although i know now Urban Decay has changed the packaging ont he primer potion. I honestly go thru phases where I wear one more than the other, and right now I'm just prefering the shadow insurance:)

9. Favorite Makeup Remover: M.A.C's Pro Eye Makeup Remover, $10.00

LOL its almost empty! Time for a new one!

This, by far, is my favorite makeup remover. its kinda pricey for as much as I go thru it, but it is the only remover I have used that doesnt irritate my eyes. I have used wipes and other removers, but this just works the best for me:)

10. Favorite Mascara: Ulta Amped lashes, $10.00, ulta

I dont normally like mascaras that have those rubber nubby brushes, but this changed my way of thinking a little bit. I am very particular about my eyelashes. I hate mascaras that make them look clumpy and that don't separate the lashes properly. I also don't like ones with clumpy formulas. It a HUGE pet peeve of mine! I actually got this mascara for free in a free makeup bag I recieved at Ulta. They had a deal going where if you spend $17.50 on ulta- brand items, you recieve a free bag of make up to try out! That made me happy:) I'll probably do a post about the most recent ones i have recieved later on.  But getting back on topic, I like the formula and the brush alot suprisingly!

Last but not least,

10.Favorite Nail Polish: Sinful Colors, California, $1.99, Walgreens, Target

You can tell I love this polish! It's half-empty!

Now, there is NO WAY to just have one favorite nail polish, but this is my all time go-to! I love the color and the type of shimmer it has. California is  really unique and I can wear it with anything! It's a very light pinky peach color with a beautiful soft shimmer. I love it on my toes especially!  Anytime i'm clueless as to what color to paint my nails, I always reach for this one! And you gotta love the price also. Its amazing quality as well:)http://www.walgreens.com/http://www.target.com/

Well, those are my top favorite products right now, I'm sure somethings will change in the future, but I'm glad I got to share this with you! I hope you enjoy!

Hi Everyone!

Hey everyone!

I'm new here to the blogging community. I am still getting used to it and learning how to do it so bear with me over the next few posts:)

I love make-up(if you haven't already guessed lol), and I wanted a way to talk about my opinions and hear what other people have to say also:) I will be posting reviews on cosmetics and nail polish, make-up looks, nail looks, and skin/ nail care items.

I love reading blogs and reviews from people that review the more affordable make-up. Of course high end make-up is amazing and great quality, but not everyone has the money to purchase those kinds of cosmetics. I am one of those people lol. I have a pretty extensive collection of cosmetics and its really all over the place! And trust me, i didnt get all of it at one time:) My collection has taken a loooong time to become what it is and its going to continue to grow!

Well, i'm giving this a shot and i hope this blog is very helpful and useful to people! I am excited to talk to peole and gain more knowledge! Thanks for reading!
